Louis Merki

​

practically grew up in the film business. As the son of a well-known German television and theater actor and one of the managing directors of Hager Moss Film, he has already acted as a child actor alongside Benno Fürmann and Jan Fedder. After leaving school, Louis Merki completed an apprenticeship as a clerk for audiovisual media at Hager Moss Film. He has been studying production at the HFF Munich since 2017. He and Welf Reinhart founded their first joint production company in 2020: Merki and Reinhart Film. With films by this company they won numerous festival awards, their last medium-length short film ROOMS is among the winners of this years Student Academy Awards (Studentoscars). From 2021 till 2024 Louis has also been working at Odeon Fiction as a producer. Since 2024 as freelance producer.

Well Reinhart

studied feature film directing first in Kassel and later at the HFF in Munich. During this time he was a scholarship holder for outstanding students. In 2016 he founded the Anomaloskop Film. His shortfilm ‘Rooms' was shown and awarded at various OSCAR qualifying festivals and won the Student Academy Award in silver in 2022. He is currently working on various series ideas (also together with Louis Merki) and his debut film.
